Vespa 150 SPRINT VELOCE - 1969
In 1969, after an extensive facelift, the Vespa Sprint 150 entered dealers as the Sprint Veloce 150. The frame has remained, but now a handlebar head with a 130 mm round headlight dominates. The speedometer from the Super models is used. The large, angular rear light with a cover painted in the vehicle color complements the new look. At the start of production, light gray plastic handles and side panel rubbers as well as a white speedometer sheet are used. Over the course of production, these will be replaced with black rubber counterparts. The engine lives up to the name Sprint Veloce, so the performance of this unit has increased significantly again. Thanks to a third overflow channel in the engine housing and cylinder, performance has been improved over the entire speed range. With the increased compression ratio, the larger Dell'Orto 20/20 carburetor and a more voluminous exhaust, the Sprint achieves balanced driving performance. With the changing model years, the Sprint Veloce was offered in new colors. .
