Delivery for the UK is free for Royal Mail 48 Tracked (RM24 available at higher rate) This is a sigle charge no matter how many items you buy.

A car in 1:18 scale is approximately 9 to 10 inches in length (230mm – 250mm)

A car in 1:24 scale is approximately 7 to 8 inches in length (180mm – 200mm)

 

1:43

A car in 1:24 scale is approximately 3.5 to 4 inches in length (90mm – 100mm)

As motor vehicles evolved, sizes have changed. Back in the 1950’s cars were often long and bulky. Especially American cars. This was partly because of style but also due to having to accommodate large engines. As we move through the late 1960’s 70’s and 80’s cars became smaller. In the UK fuel consumption and urban friendly vehicles lead to car sizes being smaller. This changed again as we came to the new millennium as styles became larger again with the advent of super-efficient engines and wind tunnel designs.
This all means that a scale model follows suit as everything is accurate to the relevant
scale. - If you are not sure what scale to buy here is a simple solution. Measure the lengthof a real car, the divide the length by the size of model you would like. This will give you an approximate scale.

For example if the real car is 450cm long and you would like a modelthat is 25cm long.    450 / 25 = 18  In this case the scale would be 1:18.
