Vespa 125 NUOVA – 1965
The Vespa 125 Nuova (VMA1T), which appeared in 1965, is very closely based on the V50 and the V90. The leg shields are an integral part of the self-supporting sheet steel frame and the engine is only accessible via a flap, which is installed at an angle of 45°. It is the first 125 cc Vespa with 10" tires and self-aerating drums like the 90 Super Sprint model. The handlebar is the same as on the Vespa Super. The engine has a stroke of 51mm with a bore of 55mm. A Dell'Orto SHB 16/16 is used as the carburettor. About 17,000 of the Vespa 125 Nuova were built until 1967.
