Ford Capri 2.8 Injection Metallic Green 1:24 Scale Car Model Bburango

In 1982 Ford introduced the Capri 2.8i. It gave a much needed boost to the model and extended its production life. The engine was cleaned up and now with the aid of injection produced 160BHP. Capable of taking the car to 130mph.

Checkered seats were changed to velour and the now familiar Pepperpot alloys were a standard fitment. As they were on its stablemate, the Fiesta XR2. Early examples had a 4 speed box which was later changed to a five speed. It lead to special versions such the all white Tickford and Brooklands Green 280 which at £12000 struggled to sell. Production ended in 1986.
